One-Punch Man is a series full of incredibly powerful villains – it has to be, as its hero can win any war with a single punch. While that can make every villain seem weak, villains often get a chance to show their full strength even before Saitama shows up. That means demolishing the shop with some lower ranked heroes, and often causes huge collateral damage. Here are the 10 strongest villains that have appeared in One-Punch Man so far, but only those who have actually fought.
Also, this list is based on manga, so for those who only watch anime, beware disclosure front.
10 Slaughter Kabuto
Carnage Kabuto is a creation of House of Evolution, and appears very early in both the anime and manga. He is said to be a very powerful being, kept in an underground testing facility to limit the amount of damage he can inflict. His appearance suggests that he is based on or in combination with the Hercules Beetle, imparting his powers. He was also able to respond to Genos’ attacks with only his breath, and Genos soon ranked high among S-rank heroes. Carnage Kabuto had the rare distinction of actually receiving unleashing Saitama’s power before entering battle, reflexively retreating when Saitama first prepared to attack. Saitama finally beat him with ease when he realized they were about to miss Saturday’s grocery deals.
9 kings of the deep sea
The Deep Sea King is the original enemy in One-Punch Man, but he is extremely dangerous for the chapters in which he operates. Deep Sea King has easily defeated several Rank A heroes, as well as One-Punch Man’s problematic Rank S hero Puri-Puri Prisoner. Deep Sea King is very cruel, directly attacking a shelter with the intention of slaughtering the innocent people hiding inside. When the rain began in earnest, the Deep Sea King received a tremendous amount of power, allowing him to nearly kill Genos. The battle with the Deep Sea King is largely remembered for Mumen Rider’s incredibly brave (but ineffective) efforts at stopping him, gaining many fans. Saitama took down the Deep Sea King with ease, but pretending that it was only easy for him because the other heroes did so much damage, he hit his own reputation to save the others. .
8 Goketsu
Goketsu is a monster that appears as the main antagonist of the Super Fight season, adapted in season 2 of the anime. Goketsu holds an executive position in the Monster Association, and his goal is to turn the powerful people in the Super Fight competition into monsters. Goketsu himself was once a martial artist who chose to become a monster to gain power and expects others to do the same. Suiryu was one of the few who refused, and he had to fend off this monster (and other recently transformed ones) on his own for quite some time. Fortunately, Saitama also joined the tournament and was ready to defeat Goketsu, decapitating him with a single blow to the head.
7 Ugly Fuhrers
The first monster on this list that hasn’t appeared in the anime yet, the Fuhrer Ugly is an evil villain whose name is quite fitting to describe. Another Monster Association executive, Fuhrer Ugly deeply resented anyone he considered beautiful, completely destroying the #1 ranked Rank A hero, Sweet Mask, with very little effort. He received a power upgrade after being partially digested by another monster, giving him acidic powers that allowed him to burn the skin of the S-Class hero Blackluster. The Fuhrer Ugly even earned some kills, after taking down at least one member of the Council of Swordsmen with that same acid power. The Fuhrer Ugly was finally defeated by Garou, more than anyone else, who kicked a large hole right in his chest.
6 Wine
Boros appeared at the end of season 1 of One-Punch Man as the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, who came to Earth from deep space. One-Punch Man’s Boros is very powerful, is resistant to damage, has amazing healing abilities, and can create shockwave attacks at will, rendering opponents inaccessible. He was originally wearing a suit of armor, but this was revealed to be a power limiter, which he removed while fighting Saitama. He was one of the first monsters to actually pose a small challenge to Saitama, hitting him with an attack that sent the hero all the way to the Moon. Saitama had to throw “Serious Punch” for the first time to win.
5 platinum sperm
Another executive of the Monster Association, the Platinum Sperm actually started as a swarm of creatures known as the Black Sperm. All these trillions of bodies fused together resulted in the creation of Platinum Sperm, who proved to be incredibly powerful. Platinum Sperm was able to go head-to-head in a three-way battle with Garou and the S-rank hero Flashy Flash and boldly challenged King to attack him directly. Against Garou, Platinum Sperm traded thousands of hits in just milliseconds, showing good attack speed and truly off the charts. He was eventually defeated by Garou, whose abilities grew so fast at the time that he couldn’t keep up.
4 Evil Countries
One of the weirdest monsters in the series, One-Punch Man’s Evil Natural Water has just that: a fierce and evil puddle. However, when Evil’s Natural Water was mixed with another body of water, it would take over it, something so dangerous that even monsters trapped it. Evil Nature’s Water first entered the aquifer, and then flowed into the sea, becoming the Water of Evil. Evil Ocean Water can release jets of water at extremely high pressure and control itself to create large tidal waves. Its deadliest attack is also its simplest: drowning heroes. Saitama defeated it dramatically, unleashing a Serious Punch that splits the sea in an almost biblical manner.
3 Centisenn
The Centisennin is another centipede monster from One-Punch Man, but much larger than the one seen in Part 2 of One-Punch Man. This creature emerges from the ground where it sleeps and recovers from a battle with the 1st S-Class hero, Blast. It has 6,666 limbs and is so tall that its head is almost out of the atmosphere. It has enormous strength and defense, its hard shell easily blocks most attacks. Centisennin emerges specifically to fight Saitama, who is known as the “Disgusting Fist Against God”. Unfortunately for it, however, the Centisennin was actually defeated by Garou, whose karate chopped its entire body in half in one dramatic motion.
2 Orochi
Orochi is the King of Monsters and the superficial leader of the Monster Association, only briefly appearing in season 2. In the manga, Orochi has incredible speed and strength, but his most dangerous abilities. it is the ability to transform the body at will. Orochi are also the source of the Monster Cells seen throughout the series, which, if ingested, turn humans into monsters. He can also breathe out fire, as well as sucking energy directly from the Earth’s core, making it nearly impossible to stop. Orochi was nearly defeated by Saitama, but it merged with the Monster Association’s true mastermind, an esper known as Psykos, who gave it the power to control gravity and assimilate anything. anything in its body. Orochi-Psykos was defeated in a particularly spectacular way by Tatsumaki.
1 animal
Garou has appeared in the anime One-Punch Man, but what is shown is only a tiny bit of his power. Garou continuously transforms to become more monstrous throughout the Monster Association section, increasing in power at an exponential rate. With all the other monsters gone, Garou turned his attention to the heroes in his new Cosmic Horror mode, which saw Garou endowed with powers. by the ultimate being, the Evil God. One-Punch Man’s cosmic horror Garou launched planetary destruction attacks as he battled Saitama, and their battle destroyed a large chunk of Jupiter. Garou’s defeat occurred when God abandoned him, and Saitama launched an attack so powerful that it sent them both back in time. Cosmic Horror Garou disappeared into thin air, and the damage their fight took was fortunately reversed. As such, the alternate Garou was still alive from before his transformation.
One-Punch Man’s villains are amazing in strength, but they have to be to even be considered a threat to Saitama. And there are still stronger threats out there, such as God, who has yet to make a direct move against Saitama. One can only imagine what is still ahead in One-Punch Manbut at least anime fans have some of these incredible monsters and their amazing battles to look forward to in One-Punch Man season 3.
