10 Nagant Ladies test Deku's abilities
Season 6, Episode 21: “The Lovely Lady Nagant”
Season 6 brought with it the Dark Heroes arc, where Deku was left more or less alone, acting as a vigilante with very little support from the pro hero base. Deku has kept his distance from his classmates to protect them from assassins sent by All for One, and among them is the eponymous Lady Nagant, a former hero who turned against her former master at Heroic Public Safety Committee. Her Quirk rifle allows her to initiate a ranged attack on Deku, forcing him to put everything he has on the table to win.
Lady Nagant truly tested Deku's morality by targeting Kai Chisaki, AKA Overhaul, a villain Deku has every right to hate. However, Deku proved his heroism by throwing caution to the wind and saving Chisaki, outrunning her speeding bullet to rescue him. The fight with Lady Nagant was also one of the first in which Deku used nearly every Quirk in his arsenal, proving that the true power of One for All cannot be underestimated.

These injuries eventually led to amputation and replacement with prosthetic limbs, but despite the incredible damage, Mirko continued to lie in Nomu.
