Reborn as a Slime Part 3 threatens war
The third part adapts the Monster vs. Saint Arc
Part 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime adapts volume 7 of the light novel, including a part called “Monster vs. Saint Part”. After becoming an official Demon Lord in season 2, Rimuru returns to Tempest and holds a festival, with the intention of welcoming people who are traveling from all over the world to pay homage to the newest Demon Lord. . However, a messenger was killed, and a false message was sent to the Holy Kingdom of Lubelius: a declaration of war, on behalf of Rimuru.
That was enough to attract the Holy Kingdom's knight captain, Hinata Sakaguchi, who happened to be a Japanese from another world like Rimuru. Hinata is Shizu's friend, the person responsible for giving Rimuru her human form, and so Rimuru really doesn't want to fight her. Rimuru will have to solve this deception and find out who is responsible, otherwise he may be forced to face Hinata in battle again, and who knows who will come out on top if that happens.
Season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has been a long time coming, as season 2 ended at the end of 2021. Of course, there's been no shortage of Slime content during that time period; a film, Scarlet Bond, was released in late 2022 in Japan and early 2023 in the United States and can now be easily streamed on Crunchyroll. Several OVAs, including a three-part series called “Visions of Coleus,” were released in 2023, helping to keep fans engaged while waiting for the next season to be completed.
Season 3 promises some excellent action and drama as Rimuru's monster league continues to fight for the right to coexist, and Hinata is an interesting character who would certainly benefit from being explored more. Fan That time I was reincarnated as a Slime Luckily there won't be much more of a wait to finally see this exciting piece of animation.
