A January 2024 release date has been announced for the television anime Tales of Wedding Rings, an adaptation of the fantasy romantic comedy manga by Maybe. Character images and trailers of the two main characters Sato and Hime have also been released.
The anime’s website states that more character images/trailer for Tales of Wedding Rings will be released in the coming weeks, for a total of five consecutive weeks of release.

The anime-inspired manga series published by Square Enix began in 2014 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of January 2023. It is serialized in Monthly Big Gangan magazine and published under the Big Gangan Comics label. . Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:
A high school girl becomes a newlywed in another world. When Hime, Sato’s childhood friend, suddenly says goodbye, he chases after her and finds himself in a fantasy world!! There Sato married Hime and became the legendary hero, the King of the Ring!! Dusk Maiden of Amnesia’s Maybe brings you an out of this world romantic comedy for newlyweds!!

Takashi Naoya (Vermeil in Gold) is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment with Deko Akao (My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex) is the creator of the series and Saori Nakashiki (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) is the character designer. Sato and Hime are respectively voiced by Gene Sato and Akari Kitou.
Other actors included Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nephrites, Hitomi Ueda as Granart, Ai Kakuma as Saphir and Mikako Komatsu as Amber.
