The Tadaima, Okaeri anime will air in spring 2024. Following the announcement, a new trailer and details about the main cast were released. Studio DEEN is animating the series.
The main cast includes Atsushi Tamaru as Masaki, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Hiromu and Atsumi Tanezaki as Hikaru. Shinji Ishihira will direct the film with series writing by Yoshiko Nakamura and Mina Osawa. An anime adaptation was first announced in September 2023.
Crunchyroll has licensed the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, and CIS. The summary is listed as follows: Masaki Fujiyoshi is a stay-at-home wife and parent. Tadaima, Okaeri is a yaoi slice-of-life manga by Ichi Ichikawa. It has been serialized in Fusion Product’s Omegaverse Project anthology magazine since November 2015. Comixology, the publisher of the English-language manga Welcome Home, describes the plot as follows: Masaki lives as a human housewife husband in the Fujiyoshi household with his lovable winner and breadwinner husband.
