A third trailer and new visual have been released for the mysterious anime SHOSHIMIN: How to Become Ordinary to promote the “upcoming summer exclusive tropical parfait box.”
The visual shelters protagonists Jogoro Kobato and Yuki Osanai from the summer heat by placing them in a cozy, wood-filled cafe, with a giant parfait on their table. Meanwhile, the main focus of the trailer is on a festival that Yuki attends wearing a fox mask, and the preview ends with the sweet girl realizing that she forgot to pick up some dagashi.

SHOSHIMIN began airing in Japan on July 6 JST (effectively July 7 at 1:30 AM JST) and is streaming on Crunchyroll and Ani-One Asia. The previous installment describes the premise as follows:
Kobato decides to become an honest, humble citizen after going through a bitter experience called “intellectual work”. He makes a pact with Osanai, a classmate with the same goal, and they plan to enter high school and live a quiet life. But for some reason, inexplicable incidents and disasters continue to occur around them. Will Kobato and Osanai be able to live a normal, peaceful life?
Anime based on the SHOSHIMIN Series by Honobu Yonezawa by Hyouka, published under the Suiri name of Tokyo Sogensha's Sougen Bunko label and had four main volumes released between 2004 and 2009. A short story collection was released in 2020 and a new novel was released in April 2024. The first two inspired manga adaptations.
