The episode begins with Yamato telling Momonouske to create a Fire Cloud to move Onigashima away from the Capital Flower. Momonouske tried his best but he couldn’t create enough Fire Cloud to sustain Onigashima.
Momonouske then remembers his past when his mother Kozuki Toki sent him and Akazaya Nine 20 years into the future to recapture Onigashima from Orochi and Kaido. He remembers having to leave his mother and sister behind because he was just a child and couldn’t do anything.
Returning to the present, Momonouske concludes that he is no longer a helpless child and that he will save the people of Wano from Orochi and Kaido’s rule and become their Shogun. Then, Onigashima suddenly headed towards the Flower Capital.
On the Onigashima rooftop, Luffy and Kaido are having their most epic duel ever. Luffy is in the air and uses the attack “Gum-Gum Lightning!” at Kaido as he grabs a bolt of lightning from the sky and throws it at Kaido.
Kaido is shocked to see how ridiculous Luffy’s new power is as he dodges his attacks. But Luffy surrounded Kaido with lightning strings and got close to him by bouncing off those strings and struck Kaido with a series of lightning bolts.
Luffy then jumped up from the ground and attempted to attack Kaido, but Kaido hit him with a Hassaikai, sending Luffy flying. Luffy immediately regained his balance, circled around the entire Onigashima and attacked Kaido in the stomach.
Luffy then ran around the battlefield but Kaido attacked him with his “Blast Breath”. Luffy then grabbed another bolt of lightning from the sky and used it as a rope to propel himself and rush towards Kaido.
Both of them engaged in an epic clash with Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror’s Haki) and repelled each other. Luffy lands on the clouds and turns them into rubber. Then, Luffy grabbed all the lightning in those clouds and threw it all towards Kaido.

On the rooftop of Onigashima, we can see the damage caused by the battle between Luffy and Kaido. Kaido remembers that Kuzoki Oden is also a Haki user and does not possess any Devil Fruit powers. Then suddenly, Luffy grabbed Kaido’s chest and started pulling Kaido towards him.
Kaido tells Luffy to let him go because Luffy is betraying his own position. Kaido then transformed into a dragon and used “Dragon Twister: Demolition Breath” against Luffy, sending sharp air slashes towards Luffy.
