From August 16 to August 18 in Poznan, Poland, one of Europe's largest fantasy conventions, Pyrkon, held the”HIKARI Festival” focusing on anime and manga. Among the lineup was STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, who not only performed but also debuted the event's theme song. September 20 marked the digital debut of that theme song, titled”HIKARI”. Created specifically for the HIKARI Festival, this track represents STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION's belief that”music connects people around the world”. The song combines sounds and choral elements of both Polish and Japanese origin, meticulously crafted into a harmonious work. The result is an anthem where anime and music enthusiasts across borders come together to create a unified chorus. Additionally, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION is excited to announce the upcoming release of the STEREO DIVE 03 digital album this fall. The album will not only feature “HIKARI” but also many theme songs for popular TV anime such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, SYNDUALITY Noir and Sengoku Youko. We are delighted that RON has composed the theme song for the Hikari Festival. It shows the bright and cheerful character of our event. We created the Festival with the idea of “fan to fan” and this song embodies that in both production and performance. In a unique experience, fans can participate in the production by recording their voices to be used in the piece. And then, during the SDF concert in Poland, we all sang the chorus together, which allowed everyone to be a part of the performance. Thank you for composing this song for us!
Introducing STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION
STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION is a sound creation project created by RON, who specializes in writing, composing and arranging music. RON's work has been used as background music for anime titles and other media content. In 2013, he began working as a STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION with the song “Daisy” chosen as the ending theme song of the anime Beyond the Boundary. Since then, he has composed and sung theme songs for many popular anime series such as Dimension W, Food Wars!, Moriarty the Patriot and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. As”RON”, he has produced songs for voice actors and artists, and also composed for popular Japanese anime series including Hypnosis Mike, A3! and Love Live! Sunny!!.
