Taro Kanafuro’s bloody horror manga Suburban Hell will release this summer
North American publisher Star Fruit Books announced on Friday that it has acquired worldwide English rights to Taro Kanafuro’s Suburban Hell manga. The company will release the one-volume manga this summer. The manga is a collection of seven short stories that “focus on human decay and corruption in an everyday suburban setting.”

The company also announced on February 9 that it has licensed author Stephan Lapin and the one-shot manga “Handyman Quincy” by illustrator Naoto Tsushima. The company will release the one-shot this summer.

Star Fruit Books describes the series:

Star Fruit Books further noted on February 5 that the first issue of Comic Bright magazine will release this fall. This magazine is the publisher’s irregularly published manga magazine. The first issue will feature stories from Minami Q-ta, Tatsuya Ihara and Youichi Abe. The magazine will also feature essays and interviews.
