She suggested that Kumiko become a teacher, but Kumiko was unsure and pondered the idea when she got home. At home, Kumiko finds her sister Mamiko there. The family discusses Kumiko's uncertainty about her future career. Later, at the pool, the first-year band members compare their physical fitness with their seniors.
Kumiko and Kousaka join in and the girls admire Kousaka's figure. In the end they left Kumiko and Mayu alone. Kumiko and Mayu talk about Mayu's friendship with Tsubame and her desire to make others happy.
Mayu opens up about her hobbies or lack thereof, which reminds Kumiko of her middle school thoughts. Kousaka and Tsubame return with drinks and ask Mayu what she wants.
Mayu took a group photo of the girls. Hazuki and the others ask about her camera, Mayu says her father gave it to her. Mayu revealed that she has many photos taken at Seira High School. Kumiko asks her to take another photo with everyone, wanting to capture the moment together.
The next day, Kumiko and the others look at the picture of the swimming pool in the bass section. Hazuki asks about the group photo and Mayu says it wasn't developed properly. Mayu then asked Kumiko why she invited her to the swimming pool. She mentions their upcoming audition and plans to do their best. The episode ends with a shot of a facility.
