Solo Leveling: Arise Releases Part 2 of Charlotte and Harper's Hunter: Origin Webtoon
The webtoon's ending strongly hints at a third season, extending Charlotte and Harper's record as the only Hunter: Origin story to receive multiple seasons. Last week, Harper received a YouTube Analysis File, which analyzed her skills and revealed that her voice actress is Lizzie Freeman, known for her roles in anime such as Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil and Chizuru Mizuhara in Rent-A-Girlfriend. This week, Charlotte is the next to be analyzed, with her File revealing that she is voiced by the famous Cristina Vee Valenzuela (Killua in Hunter x Hunter, Louise in The Familiar of Zero, Homura Akemi in Puella Magi Madoka Magica).
The official description for Charlotte, the Dark Mage, is as follows: “Charlotte, the strategist who pursues her enemies regardless of the difficulties ahead, is here! A mage hunter who loves to play mischievous pranks and smiles innocently when she sees her opponents confused! 🔮 Where will the colorful and powerful magic of the dolls created by her mana power go?”
Solo Leveling Heats Up With New Ragnarok Webtoon and Anime Season 2 Coming Soon
As mentioned, Charlotte and Harper's Story follows several webtoon backstories, such as Hunter Association leader Go Gunhee and the cute but dangerous assassin Amamiya Mirei. These recent releases are also joined by the Solo Leveling webtoon sequel Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, which debuted to great fanfare in August. Fans overseas have been waiting for an official English-language release but finally got the recent news of Solo Leveling Season 2, which confirmed its release date and time in North American theaters earlier this week. Officially titled Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, the upcoming theatrical release will include a compilation film of Season 1 and the first two episodes of Season 2.
Fans can stream the first season of the anime on Crunchyroll, with the official description: “They say that whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not true for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-level dungeon, Jinwoo returns to the System, a program only he can see that helps him level up in every way. Now, he’s inspired to uncover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that created them.”
