Solo Leveling: Arise is famous for revealing the latest installment in its webtoon series that explores new additions to the game — this time focusing on two original characters from the game, Charlotte and Harper.
Through the official forum of Solo Leveling: Arise developer Netmarble, siblings Charlotte and Harper have received a new webtoon as part of the ongoing “Hunter: Origin” series. This one delves into the backstory of the characters added to the game. With the official title being “Hunter: Origin – Charlotte & Harper’s Story 1 –” and an unresolved ending, this suggests that this will be the first installment in the “Origin” series to receive multiple parts. The story revolves around a pair of noisy adopted orphan twins whose powers awakened at a young age and who were instructed to use their powers to protect others. They venture into a Gate with the orphanage manager to protect their family, before a tragic incident occurs. Readers can check out the webtoon below.

Harper also received a Hunter Analysis File, courtesy of Netmarble. Lizzie Freeman voices the Dark attribute Tank and is known for her anime roles, including Hinata Tachibana in Tokyo Revengers, Tomoe Koga in the Rascal Does Not Dream series, Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil, and Chizuru Mizuhara in Rent-A-Girlfriend. Her latest role as the mischievous Harper is revealed: “Once Harper sets her sights on a target, she will chase them to the ends of the Earth! Harper, the precious prankster has arrived! A prankster who loves mischief and smiles innocently at the sight of her opponents’ confused faces! Where is her giant, mischievous hammer headed?”
The webtoon follows several recent releases, such as Hunter Association President Go Gunhee, as well as Yoo Soohyun, the first main character to have a webtoon storyline. Other original characters include Alicia Blanche, Han Se-Mi, Amamiya Mirei, and Meilin Fisher. Gunhee debuted just ahead of Solo Leveling: Arise's 100th day anniversary update, a milestone that also came with the revelation that the game has been downloaded over 20 million times.
As players and manhwa readers continue to receive new content, fans of the Solo Leveling anime series look forward to Aniplex Online Fest 2024. More information about the highly anticipated Solo Leveling Season 2, WIND BREAKER, and more will be revealed. Ahead of Season 2, fans can stream the first season of Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll in English subtitles and dubs.
