Most read series of 2023 by Shonen Jump readers:
Bleach Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Black Clover Jujutsu Kaisen One-Punch Man My Hero Academia Chainsaw Man One Piece
All of these titles became some of the best-selling manga in history. Even the best-selling game on the list, Black Clover, only sold 19 million copies. This will likely be Black Clover’s final appearance here, with the manga’s upcoming magazine change from Weekly Shonen Jump to monthly Jump Giga completed later this month. Other Shueisha titles like Oshi no Ko may have a chance to make this list. However, as of December 2023, Oshi no Ko can only be read on MANGA Plus.
Bleach and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba holds the distinction of being the only manga series to have ended publication. However, both are fueled by ongoing animated series, with the latest sequel coming next year. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 recently released a new trailer, reintroducing important characters like Sosuke Aizen and Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. Additionally, along with the Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc trailer, it was revealed that the first episode will be a one-hour special and worldwide screenings of “Swordsmith Village Arc” Episode 11 and To the Hashira Training of Season 3 will also take place.
