From an early age, Barbie dolls have been a favorite toy of many girls. Therefore, many people dream that when they grow up, they will literally have a life covered in pink.
Although the idea of using all furniture with the same color is not easy to implement, Katie Loveday (18 years old) in the UK has done this and made many people admire with her “one color” life but not boring.
Katie Loveday admits she is a huge fan of Barbie dolls
Sharing with SWNS, Katie said she has had a special interest in barbie dolls since she was a child since she received a doll on her birthday as a gift. At that time, Katie always chose for herself as well as the pink costume dolls.
“I have all the limited edition dolls like the Barbie from my dream wedding and the doll that comes with the pink car. I dress them all in pink.” – Katie shares her love for Barbie dolls.
Katie admits that she has been passionate about pink since she was a child
Although she loves pink, when she was in sixth grade, Katie began to dress more casually with a white t-shirt, white shoes and tight jeans. However, Katie said she doesn’t feel comfortable wearing those outfits and misses wearing pink, saying:
“I feel very insecure when I wear those clothes and I don’t understand why. After finishing school and becoming a more independent person, I realized that I really don’t look good in those simple clothes. I just wear what I think other people want me to wear.”
Katie before and after finding her passion for pink
Not only passionate about wearing pink and collecting more than 100 Barbie dolls, Katie also gradually modeled her entire house, bedroom, car and many objects after this famous character with a pink cover.
Katie has a literal “pink” life
Sharing more, Katie also expressed concern that she will find it difficult to find a boyfriend in the future: “I worry that the person I’m dating walking into my room will think it’s ridiculous that the room is all pink. I find most people would want a mate to dress more ‘normally’ while all My appearance is exactly like a Barbie doll.”
Despite her worries, Katie said she still feels lucky now that she dares to live her own style and is happy to be herself.
