Wim Strauss is a “magic caster”—a support mage who can strengthen allies through his magical powers. It's a useful talent, but since it can't be used directly in battle, it doesn't gain any respect from the other members of his party. To them, support magic is meaningless. Not long after, they threw him out, leaving Wim wondering if his career as an adventurer was over.
Luckily for Wim, he has a big chance: his childhood friend Heidemarie can get him an audition with her elite A-list group, Nachtlibelle. The two of them knew his magic was useful for more than just temporary backup, but now he would have to prove it. It's time to show the world that support mages can do more than just stand in the backline!

Summary:
Tsujimura Aoi would not consider herself a main character by any means. Meek and insecure, she is often alone, unlike her athletic brother, Itsuki, or her mother, a famous shoujo mangaka. However, Aoi doesn't need to become the heroine—all she wants is a true friend. But Itsuki disagrees, and when he brings Aoi's cute classmate Mizusawa Sena home, the two plan to teach Aoi all about love, using shoujo manga as their guide. Can this boring side character become a peerless heroine when she falls in love with the perfect guy?
Yoshinaga launched the series in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine in August 2021. Shogakukan will publish the eighth compiled book volume on May 24.
