The Sengoku Youko anime adaptation that began airing in Japan on January 10, 2024 (effective January 11, 12 a.m. JST) received a lengthy story trailer. Sengoku Youko is based on the manga by Satoshi Mizukami, began serialization in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine in 2007 and ended in 2016 with 17 tankoubon volumes. INKR describes the plot as follows:
The world is divided into two factions: humans and monsters called katawara. Despite being a katawara, Tama loves humans and vows to protect them from evil, even if it means fighting her own kind.
