Comment from Chiaki Ishikawa:
I was surprised and grateful to have this unexpected reunion with SEED. Back then, I received valuable advice from screenwriter Chiaki Morosawa and gained a lot of insight into music composition. For this stage version, I incorporated these experiences into the lyrics. I also had the opportunity to speak with Director Fukuda, who expanded our discussions from the emotions of each character to broader themes of war, ultimately leading to a clear destination. Somehow, along the way, it felt like we had created something that truly felt like SEED. I will be happy if it brings you joy.
Comment from Yuki Kajiura:
I was truly honored to once again collaborate with Chiaki Ishikawa to create the ending theme for Mobile Suit Gundunda Particles of Freedom. I’m glad that See-Saw was deemed essential to this new story, one that fans have been eagerly awaiting for 20 years. It was an honor to write a song for the final scene. We hope that it will meet the wishes of the fans.
Comments from Director Mitsuo Fukuda, Director of Mobile Suit Gunma SEED Series:
First, thank you for the great song. The first time I heard it, I had a strange feeling. Ms. Kajiura’s enchanting music and Ms. Ishikawa’s story-themed lyrics create an enchanting world and it feels as if the world of Mobile SuitGundam SEED from 20 years ago is seamlessly connected with the present. The emotional melodies, the world-building arrangements, and the lyrics that emotionally connect the characters with the listener all resonated with me. I believe it perfectly captures the grandeur of the ending theme for the movie Mobile Suit GTA SEED FREEDOM.
The ending themes of the iconic Mobile Suit gundam SEED series. “Anna ni Issho Datta no ni” is a magical song that matches the theme of each episode and brings emotions to the climax. The same can be said for “Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru”. It’s not the anime world, but the everyday words that tie into the theme of each episode and touch the heart.
I firmly believe that “Sarigiwa no Romantics” will be another good song that will enrich the ending of this drama.
