The opening theme song for the upcoming anime adaptation of Scott Pilgrim has been released. The opening song is titled “Bloom” performed by Japanese rock band Necry Talkie. Science SARU is producing the animation for the series, which will premiere on Netflix on November 17. The anime will bring together actors from the 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to voice their characters.

Scott Pilgrim focuses on the story of part-time musician Scott Pilgrim, who lives in Toronto, Ontario, and plays bass in a band. One day, he falls in love with American delivery girl Ramona Flowers, but he must defeat Flowers’ seven evil exes to properly date her.
The series began with six black-and-white volumes, initially released by manga publisher Oni Press. The graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malley was later republished by HarperCollins’Fourth Estate and made available in full color through Nathan Fairbairn, running from August 2012 to April 2014.
Besides the 2010 film, several spin-offs have spawned from the series, including the game Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Chengdu in 2010. 2010.
