A new key visual was revealed for the second season of Sasaki and Peeps during the MF Bunko J Naruto no Gakuensai 2024 live stream event. The second season was announced shortly after the first season finale this past March. Additional information about the second season has yet to be revealed.
The image features the characters Otonari-san and Abaddon, the latter of whom appeared in the 12th and final episode of the first season.

Mirai Minato (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?, The Dungeon of Black Company) directed the first season of Sasaki and Peeps, with Deko Akao (Komi Can't Communication, When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) serving as series writer and scriptwriter, and Saori Nakashiki (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) serving as character designer. Silver Link is in charge of animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime's main voice cast includes:

The anime is based on an online novel series published on Kakuyomu and Shosetsuka ni Naro on December 4, 2018. It was later republished as a light novel series by Media Factory on January 25, 2021, with eight volumes released on January 25, 2024. The ninth volume is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2024.
The series also inspired a 2021 manga adaptation by Pureji Osho. Yen Press released the light novel and manga in English in North America.

Sasaki and Peeps is streaming outside of Japan on Crunchyroll and bilibili. Crunchyroll describes the main synopsis as follows:
Sasaki is a middle-aged office worker living in Japan. Feeling exhausted by the dull corporate world, he visits a pet store in search of a new companion. There, he finds an adorable bird named Peeps and takes him home. But Sasaki soon learns that Peeps is no ordinary bird…he is a powerful wizard from another world! Together, they embark on a magical adventure filled with swords and magic.
