Oh my god, Shizuka Futari’s hotel room has turned into a battlefield as Sasaki and Peeps are now searching for the psychic. Then again, I think the salaryman and his pet bird will have to be on the lookout for the unexpected.
It turns out there was an ambush where dozens of armed soldiers shot at Sasaki and Peeps. It’s a good thing the duo created a barrier because they could have been shot down if they hadn’t, but now they need to find Shizuka Futari first.
And this is the woman who seriously injured Shizuka at this time. Man, it would be worse if those thugs happened to capture or kill her as soon as possible.
So while Shizuka Futari is healing, I wonder if the Bureau plans to take Shizuka out or is one of her former teammates angry at her betrayal?
Well, that’s the part after a man wearing glasses appears to bring Shizuka back, even sending a bunch of soldiers to capture her.
Of course, Shizuka Futari doesn’t want to return to her old organization as she will be joining the Paranormal Countermeasures Bureau full time even though that organization is a bit sketchy.
Well then, it’s time for Sasaki and Peep to escape, although this nameless rogue psychic with glasses might chase them.
Anyway, Shizuka Futari told Sasaki-san that she was tasked with detaining her former comrades in addition to joining the Bureau.
I must say that her mission was quite difficult, causing her to almost die. However, they need to do something about that psychic otaku Akiba.
And talk about the devil himself when he finds them. Hmm, I wonder if he has some crazy name but more importantly, how did he find Shizuka Futari and Sasaki-san?
It turns out he is known as Shikkoku no Datenshi or the Jet-black Fallen Angel. Oh, what about determining their location? It is revealed that he has some connection to the Bureau of Paranormal Countermeasures. Never knew that there was a spy in Akutsu’s organization.
One more thing, I forgot to mention that Shikkoku no Datenshi has a spiritual ability that allows him to create clones of various espers, depending on their exact powers. Did you see the psychic who created the wind? Psychic otaku Akiba did just that.
Anyway, it’s time for Shikkoku no Datenshi to act as he throws a giant fireball at Peeps, only for the star sparrow to dispel it.
Although their respective powers are incomparable, the Java sparrow can still go toe-to-toe with a powerful telepath.
And speaking of psychic Akiba otaku, Shikkoku no Datenshi can summon and equip rings to enhance his powers like a role-playing game.
As you can see, the otaku Psychic blocked Peeps’ magic with a barrier. Well, this is a standoff where neither the star nor the psychic gives in to each other.
That is until Shikkoku no Datenshi summons a telepath wielding a sword that can erase everything. Damn it, I don’t want Peeps to die like that-
Oh wait, the Java sparrow was still alive when Peeps erased the psychic puppet like it was nothing. Of course, I worry that Peeps can’t fly again with an injured wing.
Luckily for the Java sparrow, Peeps knew how to heal himself with magic. At this point, Shikkoku no Datenshi was stuck between a rock and a hard place as he had no other choice but to run away.
Then again, the psychic Akiba otaku won’t give up on getting Shizuka Futari back as Shikkoku without Datenshi will return again.
That is until Sasaki-san convinces him to abandon Futari-san because she joined the Bureau despite their shady activities.
Also, it turns out that Shikkoku no Datenshi is not a friend of Chief Akutsu, although I still wonder who revealed the whereabouts of Sasaki and Shizuka Futari.
With that said, Sasaki and Shikkoku no Datenshi reached a peace agreement where the otaku psychic would leave.
And thanks to Sasaki’s negotiation skills, it looks like Shizuka Futari won’t have to worry about her former teammates trying to assassinate her.
Come on, there’s no need for senseless violence if Sasaki can talk to them when it’s time to go home!
Thinking back, Hoshizaki-san called Sasaki-san that a magical girl had appeared above the Bureau headquarters. It’s unbelievable that the salaryman won’t rest tonight.
Oh yeah, it turns out Sasaki and Peeps won’t just be dealing with one magical girl, they’ll be dealing with two magical girls. Damn it, I guess I can’t talk to them anymore!
Anyway, I’ll see you next time when Sasaki and Peeps will have to fight another difficult battle. Will they survive? That’s up to them to decide.
