Sanrio and Hello Kitty have crossed paths many times in the worlds of anime and video games. Now, that crossover will continue with a new collaboration between the company's cute mascots and a major video game.
Sanrio is set to release new merchandise that combines its iconic characters with the cast of Fate/Grand Order, based on Type-Moon's Fate/stay night series. Split into two batches, the collectibles will combine 15 character pairings from both franchises. Pre-orders will begin soon, with fans who purchase a certain number even getting special discounts. Part of Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary celebrations, the collaboration is one of several released this year.
Type-Moon's Fate/Grand Order Collaborates with Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and More Sanrio Characters
The Sanrio and Fate/Grand Order merchandise will come in the form of various types of collectibles, some of which will be available in different “volumes.” These include pins, acrylic cards, keychains, acrylic base plates, smartphone stickers, glasses, and even candy. All feature cute combinations of Sanrio stars and characters from the Fate/Grand Order mobile game, with items featuring Saber Artoria and Sanrio mascot Hello Kitty together, along with Arjuna x Kuromi and Karna x My Melody. Together, the characters ride bikes, use magical powers, and just look cute in ways that are sure to appeal to fans of both franchises. All of the different types of merchandise, along with their respective prices, are as follows:

The items will be available for pre-order on September 11, 2024, and are expected to ship on October 23, 2024. Customers who order more than 2,200 yen (a little over $15 USD) of goods will receive one of 15 random postcards. Fans of Sanrio or Fate/Grand Order titles should act fast to grab all available items. Part of Type-Moon's Fate/stay night series, the Fate/Grand Order mobile game launched in 2015 for iOS and Android and also received an arcade port in Japan.
