Hello 81 Produce's management company announced the news on their official website on September 10, 2024, stating that Shinohara passed away on September 8 while undergoing medical treatment.
“Emi Shinohara passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024 while under medical care. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the support she received throughout her life,” the company said.
