Why is this anime so completely trash and difficult to consume? Doroka and Adonis stumble across Boob Town, which is filled with killer sex dolls, and then we witness the guy in white decapitate two ninja sisters (of course, let’s kill more character I have no attachment to at all-sensing a pattern here). This program cannot be executed.
I like Doroka. She’s been so sweet, kind, and funny in the past few episodes. That’s the part I kind of like in this episode, she angers Adonis by stalking him and she debates internally whether he’ll be happy to see her or pale. She also has a point. Adonis asked her why she followed him after he had destroyed all of her kind, her friends. She believes they don’t have the best of intentions either. Her character has a lot of potential.
This show has too much going on and not enough heart-felt connection. From Sand Land and post-apocalyptic biker gangs to Breastville with its murderous sex robots, witches on the Moon to a crazed witch who takes over Redia and performs idols + brutal deaths + the brutal death + more brutal death. I was completely immersed in the sauce and didn’t care about anyone except Doroka. Honestly, I’m just waiting for this show to end at this point.
