Lonely life in another world Episode 4 Evaluate: We have another episode from Lonely Life in Another World or Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku (ひとりぼっちの異世界攻略) about the hero who wishes to be alone but cannot. Let's see how this episode plays out.
Summary of episode 3: A lonely life in another world
Haruka has now taken on the role of protector of the girls, feeling it is her responsibility to protect them from dangers—whether from humans or the wild creatures lurking in the forest. The girls, lacking the strength to defend themselves, must rely on him as he demonstrates how to defeat the beast with his sheer physical strength. Unfortunately, he destroys the creature with such ease that it doesn't really provide much of a lesson. When he later tries to teach them how to use their elemental powers for defense, his overwhelming strength leaves the girls none the wiser, as he seems unbeatable.
The group eventually decided that the best course of action was to leave the forest and head towards the nearest town. However, they are still haunted by the threat of the thugs, whose sinister goal is to capture the girls and use their evil abilities against them. That night, Haruka comes across a group of Jocks, who provide him with important information. They reveal that the criminals possess a dangerous skill called “bandit,” which allows them to kill someone and absorb all of their abilities, in addition to puppetry and seduction skills.
In this episode, Haruka's natural leadership abilities shine through. He acts as a vigilant guardian, ensuring the group's safety, guiding them throughout their journey and attending to their needs. This marks a shift in the story as we start to see more characters beyond just school friends, hinting at new adventures and hopefully more action to come.
Loner Life in Another World Episode 4 Review
Here we have our hero who finally got the girls to safety and now he can return to his residence. He traveled around town and witnessed all the good things he could accomplish there. The girls are also ecstatic about their new civilized life in town after living without basic amenities in the forest. Now, they can buy clothes, food and also feel safe from the predation of boys. But the first thing they had to do was register their names as adventurers so they could officially live in the town.
Haruka, on the other hand, is called by the leader of the guild he saved along the way. He thought he would be reprimanded, but fortunately, he was praised for his work and warmly thanked. Now it's time for him to make a name for himself as an adventurer. However, this is where things go wrong. Although he is quite strong and has the survival skills to back it up, his level is not that high.
Sadly, to get adventurer status one must be at least level 10, which our hero lacks. However, not everything is lost. When he went to sell all the crystals he collected after defeating all the monsters, he made a huge amount of money. But once again, due to the irony of fate, he also lost everything in just one day. Now he has at his disposal a lot of unknown material that he may or may not need.
Verdict
In this episode, we understand that Haruka is gradually becoming more accepted by everyone than before. It's obvious that he enjoys all the attention from the girls. I'm also sure that he will eventually end up in a harem, whether he likes it or not.
