Yozakura Family Mission Episode 25 has an unexpectedly sad tone, and I like that. Let's see how this episode plays out.
Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 24 Summary
After blooming, Shinzo gains the ability to destroy the cells at their core, rendering them useless. As a result, when he attacks Kurosawa, the damaged parts turn into metal. According to Shinzo, this new ability stems from his fear. His deep fear of weapons that could harm his family drove him to obsessively study them, allowing him to master their essence and protect his loved ones from the very threats he feared.
Meanwhile, we get a glimpse of the sinister side of the Tanpopo organization, despite their innocent appearance. Their “seeding” project is a terrible plan to release a large amount of Hazakura into the ocean. Once this dangerous element reaches ordinary humans, chaos will erupt as most people will not be able to withstand its effects. This will spark a brutal “survival of the fittest” scenario, plunging the world into an irreversible disaster.
To prevent this, the brilliant hacker Shion works tirelessly to infiltrate the enemy system. However, her efforts are interrupted by another tech genius, Chacha. Fortunately, Kengo steps in to assist his sister, even though he is not an attack agent. The tide turns in their favor as two more Yozakura brothers experience their own blossoming.
Shion and Kengo's new abilities complement each other perfectly. Kengo's bloom, known as Perfect Assimilation, allows him to completely transform into anyone he desires. Shion's bloom, known as Analysis, raises her intellect to supercomputer-like levels, making their combined powers a formidable force.
Mission: Review and Recap of Yozakura Family Episode 25
Taiyo and Kyoichiro eventually reach the main antagonist and leader of Tampopo, Kawashita. He attempts to lure Taiyo into attacking him, but Taiyo stops after discovering that doing so would destroy the entire island. When this plan fails, Kawashita threatens Taiyo with taking Nanao elsewhere. Nanao is trapped by Ai and Mizuki, who must keep the other test subjects from escaping the facility. Mizuki uses her powers to create a massive amount of poisonous gas that can put anyone to sleep.
What they didn't account for, however, was why the Yozakura family didn't come here alone. Backups came in the form of the police organization, the spy organization, and the Hinagiku organization. Nanao was also saved and he directly tried to fight against Mizuki. Here, we learned Mizuki's point of view and why he supported Tanpopo when he himself didn't seem like a villain.
Apparently due to the negligence of the government and some industries, his entire family died and he was also on his deathbed. That's when Kwashita came and helped him deal with Hazakura. Thinking that there was no place for him in society anymore, Mizuki completely withdrew from society from then on. Not only that, we also learned about Ai's extremely tragic past and the reason why she was afraid of someone grabbing her by the head.
In this episode, we also get to see the blossoming of Nanao's transformation, and it has a very powerful result. He can purify anything with his power, making him an effective healer. However, towards the end, we finally get to see the true form of Kawashita's power and how terrifying he really is.
Verdict
Today's episode continued, quite tense and very interesting until the end. We don't have many episodes left, and from the plot, it's clear that we are getting very close to the final conclusion. I hope by then everything will be resolved and we will know more about the mystery behind the Yozakura family.
