Matsuura, the story of keepout debuted in 2016
Kadokawa Books announced on Sunday that writer Matsuura and artist Keepout Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Hero of Legend and the Queen of Spirits (Chichi wa Eiyū, Haha wa Seirei, light novel Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha) will was adapted into a television anime.

Matsuura launched the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in 2016 and ended it in 2020. Kadokawa published the first volume of the light novel with illustrations by Keepout in 2018. The second volume The ninth and final volume will be published in October 2022.
Manga UP! by Square Enix! Global published the digital manga adaptation in English and describes the story:
“I became the spirit of the elements when I reincarnated?!”
Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, was the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, was the primordial queen and ruler of all souls. Furthermore, she herself has the powerful ability to control the elements.
Although she looks extremely adorable, this perfect little girl will rely on her past life knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
Ohhori launched a manga adaptation of the light novel in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in September 2018. Square Enix will publish the manga’s 10th compilation volume on January 25.
