The Shiunji Family Children, another manga series by Rent-a-Girlfriend mangaka Reiji Miyajima, is being adapted into an anime. A commemorative illustration by Miyajima himself was released as part of the announcement.

The name for the anime’s first season has been finalized. Even people who seem to have everything, including a house and appearance, often have to lose something, worry, and support each other in life. I look forward to seeing “Children of the Shiunji Family” in action!

Reiji Miyajima’s Shiunji Family Children manga has been serialized in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine since February 2022. As of this writing, the manga has published two volumes, with a third volume to be released this February 16. Yen Press licensed it in English, describing the first volume as:

In addition to Children of the Shiunji Family, Miyajima is also better known for his manga Rent-a-Girlfriend, the 35th volume of which will be released on February 15. Some of his other works include Suzuki no Shiten (2009), AKB49: Renai Kinshi Jorei (2010), Mononote: Edo Shinobi Kagyo (2016), 7/22 +α (2020), as well as his oneshots Pool no Saboten (2005), Icon (2008) and Kanojo, Tensei Shimasu (2020). He also compiled the series for the 2020 anime adaptation 7/22.
