The PVR Cinemas Twitter account made an exciting announcement this past Tuesday: “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venture Out,” the opening of the two-part sequel to Hajime Kamoshida’s light novel series favorite, “Seishun Buta Yarō,” will hit Indian cinemas on October 13.
Debuting in Japan on June 23, “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venture Out” quickly grossed 175,648,924 yen in earnings (equivalent to about ₹9,89,99,415) and attracted 1,18,108 viewers excited for the first three days of victory.

This anime sequel expertly adapts the eighth season and ninth episode of this popular series: “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venture Out” and “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Backpack Kid”. The latter is scheduled to premiere in Japan on December 1.
Returning to direct this project is the excellent Sōichi Masui, directing under the direction of CloverWorks. The prolific Masahiro Yokotani also makes a welcome return, overseeing composition and script, while the talented Satomi Tamura reprises her role as character designer.
Notably, the first film’s theme song features a mesmerizing solo performance of the beloved “Fukashigi no Karte” (Mysterious Chart) from the previous television anime, performed by Kaede Azusagawa, dubbed voice of talented actress Yurika Kubo.

The television anime series “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai,” based on the light novel series, premiered in Japan in October 2018, running for a total of 13 episodes.
