French streaming platform Animation Digital Network is streaming the Pon no Michi television anime with English subtitles on its YouTube channel. The original film premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024.
You can currently watch the first nine episodes of the anime on the channel’s dedicated playlist for the series. Regional availability restrictions apply to select countries and territories.
Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fire Force Season 2 series director and writer) is directing the anime and writing the script, with Kenji Oota (Lance N’Masques) as character designer and OLM Team Inoue as animation producer . IISP is credited as the original creator.

A manga adaptation of the anime by Tsukasa Unohana began serialization in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine on September 1, 2023.
An “unofficial” spin-off manga by Jun Endou titled Pon no Michi: Ryukyoku Shanyu-hen began serialization on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web app and website on January 8, 2024.

Animation Digital Network describes the summary of Pon no Michi on its YouTube channel as:
After being kicked out of her family’s home, Nashiko Jippensha discovers that her father’s old mahjong club has fallen into disrepair. Determined to bring it back to life, she sets out to renovate it with her two friends, Pai and Izumi. Between fiery games of mahjong and relaxing moments with tea and sweet delicacies, three young girls turned the club into a true haven where they could blossom.
