When are Pokémon Horizons episodes released?
As for Pokémon Horizons, new episodes will premiere in Japan on the TVTokyo network on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. JST. Therefore, episode #36 of Pokémon Horizons will air on January 19, 2024, at 6:55 pm JST. That time equates to 1:55 a.m. Pacific time and 4:55 a.m. Eastern time, a very inconvenient time for any potential American viewers watching via satellite.
Since these broadcast chapters are intended for a Japanese audience, there are no subtitles, so fans will need to have some knowledge of Japanese to follow the plot. The English dub of Pokémon Horizons has begun airing in some regions, such as the UK, while it will premiere in the US on Netflix on March 7, 2024.
Pokémon Horizons was originally scheduled to release in the US on February 23, but was recently pushed back to March 7.
What happened in Pokémon Horizons Episode #35?
Pokémon Horizons Episode #35 sees the crew take on the job of finding the missing Pokémon, Bramblin, to earn some extra money. Riko and Roy accompany Friede on work as Riko is writing an article about Friede’s relationship with Captain Pikachu. Riko discovers that Cap and Friede have a very unusual relationship, not as perfect as it seems, but when things get tough, the two can always find a way to work together. They tested this by rescuing Bramblin from several Pokémon Hunters, eventually defeating the group of evildoers and seeing them captured.
Pokémon Horizons Episode #36 is a Pokémon Love Story
Nidothing’s latest video attracted a number of fans asking for advice, as the trainer’s Pokémon looked sluggish and unmotivated. From the preview, it appears that this trainer’s Oinkologne is in love with another Oinkologne, but the feelings are unrequited. Dot’s Quaxly is determined to help and will apparently play a pretty big role in the episode. Overall, this episode seems to be another lighter episode, like #35, as the crew continues on to their next plot-related destination.
Pokémon Horizons has two formats it has tended to use for episodes thus far: story episodes and travel episodes, with the latter being more like monster-of-the-week-style episodes that make up the season. series when Ash was the main character. The road trip episodes are still usually quite good and provide some valuable insight into the characters (as illustrated in episode #35 with Friede and Cap’s relationship).
Still, one can’t help but hope for a return to the plot soon, especially with so many potential paths for the story to go down. Luckily, these episodes haven’t overstayed their welcome yet, so it’s possible that fans can look forward to their return. Pokémon Horizon‘ action is not long in coming.
