What happened in Pokémon Horizons Episode #32?
Pokémon Horizons episode #32 sees the crew confront Lucius’s Lapras and the Pokémon Pirates, who have covered the ships in fog and stolen their cargo while Lapras pretends to help Lost ships find safety. Lapras has little interest in hearing Liko and the crew go out, but Friede and Riko win over followers by offering them free food and berries.
Lapras is reminded of the promise he made to Lucius long ago, and his former comrades, Galarian Moltres and Arboliva, come to help persuade him to keep that promise. Fans got their first clear look at Lucius in a flashback in this episodeand he looks suspiciously like Riko.
Pokémon Horizons Episode #33 will feature an intense battle with Rayquaza
The preview for episode #33 shows Amethio, seemingly not far from the spaceship, fighting Black Rayquaza. Things don’t seem to be going well in the preview, as Amethio’s Ceruledge is thrown into a rocky island at high speed when it tries to attack. The sighting of Black Rayquaza also seems to be a big deal for Terapagos, as the preview makes it clear that it will finally take its true form in this episode. Black Rayquaza always has a crystal-like shine, which may be related to Terapagos’ abilities. The time is right with the release of Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, it seems fans will finally get to see the real Terapagos.
With Lapras added to their ranks, the Rising Volt Tacklers now have three of the six Pokémon mentioned in Lucius’s legends at their disposal. It doesn’t look like Rayquaza will be convinced in the next episode, but perhaps just seeing it and coming into contact with it will help Terapagos or provide clues as to where to look for the remaining Pokémon. It will also be interesting to see what Amethio is up to; he was training and last said he was hunting down the black Rayquaza, hoping it would lead him to the spaceship again.
Episode #33 of Pokémon Horizon is becoming an important part of this new but already very exciting and successful series.
