To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation launch, Sony just made a decision that caused quite a few surprises.
That's the PlayStation 5 Pro – their latest iteration of the original PlayStation 1 design. The package will include the PS5 Pro, the newly announced DualSense and DualSense Edge, along with the PlayStation Portal and a host of other accessories. All of them are designed to resemble the style of the old PS1 with the familiar PlayStation logo that we've all seen almost 30 years ago.
Despite the initial backlash surrounding the PlayStation 5 Pro's price, gamers are still very excited about the new product.
It is known that orders will only be accepted from September 26, but from now on, the price of this limited edition PS5 Pro has been pushed up significantly. Although there is no information about the number of devices such as controllers or ports, it is expected that Sony will produce only 12,300 PS5 Pro versions. With more than 60 million PS5s sold on the market and many more sold every day, only 12,300 limited edition units can be considered a fairly small number. There is no standalone option like the PS5, instead, fans have to buy the PS5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle.
The total cost of the devices in the package is almost $1,000 (nearly 25 million VND), not including other exclusive gifts. It is not yet known how much Sony will set for this masterpiece, but right now, on eBay, there are many “speculators”. Before the launch date, this limited edition PS5 Pro has been offered for sale at a price of $10,000 (about 250 million VND) – a surprising number for everyone.
The sale post was later deleted, but certainly, this figure is completely achievable from the speculators because the appeal of this limited edition is too great.
