A television anime adaptation of the light novel series Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table has been announced.
Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table (Shibou Yuugi de Meshi o Kuu) debuted in November 2022 and will release its seventh volume on September 25, 2024 JST. The MF Bunko J title is written by Yushi Ukai and illustrated by Nekometaru.

Yen Press describes the premise as follows:
Yuki wakes up to find herself in a strange manor, dressed in a maid's uniform and lying on a luxurious bed. Soon, she discovers five other girls, all dressed like her. This is the Haunted House, and the only way they can survive is to overcome the traps set in deadly games filled with guns, chainsaws, locked rooms, and weapons. It's a hopeless, terrifying situation for everyone there… well, everyone except Yuki. After all, this is her career at the age of seventeen. Don't you think that's weird? She'd agree. But that's how some people are—they make a living playing death games.
The light novel also inspired a manga adaptation of Banzai Kotobuki Dai Enkai.
