A key trailer and new visuals have been released for the sci-fi anime Phoenix: Eden 17, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 13.
The trailer’s sci-fi visuals are accompanied by the haunting Ending Theme “Eien no Kizuna” by LIBERA and vocal previews of the cast. The following includes Shintarou Asanuma and Ryouhei Kimura newly announced, playing the roles of Makimura, a planetary immigration inspector, and Cain, the son of Romy’s character, respectively.

Phoenix: Eden 17 was inspired by Tezuka Osamu’s life’s work Phoenix, has 11 tankoubon volumes published from 1954 to 1988. This manga series features stories and settings across different time periods, and has previously inspired live-action television series and films. , animated film, game, and animated series in 2004. A theatrical version of Phoenix: Eden 17, titled Phoenix: Reminiscence of Flower, will be released on November 3 and has a different ending.
