An upcoming original anime production titled Na Nare Hana Nare has been announced.
Na Nare Hana Nare is a joint collaboration between animation production companies PAWorks and DMM.com, with the anime series set to air in 2024. Along with cast information, first key visual and trailer teaser introduction of the anime series has been released. The anime is directed by Koudai Kakimoto (BanG Dream!, Psycho-Pass Movie unit director), who is also in charge of compiling the series.
Tomomi Takada (Komada – A Whiskey Family) designed the original characters, while Kanami Sekiguchi (Ya Boy Kongming!, Sakura Quest, Hikaru no Go) oversaw their designs in the anime. Director Kakimoto, Yuniko Ayana (Awarded Film) and Midori Gotou supervised the script. Gotou also wrote the script for Hozuki’s Coolheadness, a fan favorite among lovers of yokai-themed anime. Fans can expect to know more details about Na Nare Hana Nare on January 25, 2024.
PA Works is behind some of the most popular slice-of-life and coming-of-age anime released since the 2010s, which Na Nare Hana Nare hopes to join. The studio’s 2023 anime Buddy Daddies received rave reviews for its unique take on the hero and was a frequent recommendation for Spy x Family fans. Next up was the critically acclaimed Skip and Loafer, which was hailed as the kind of fresh high school anime anime fans have been waiting for. Additionally, more than a decade after its release, PA Works’ Angel Beats, written by renowned writer Jun Maeda, has become one of the most beloved original anime series of all time. Angel Beats director Seiji Kishi returns to direct Classroom of the Elite Season 3, which has just released a new trailer.
DMM.com may not be a very familiar name to anime viewers, but its distribution company, DMM Pictures, has been involved in the production of some extremely popular and popular anime titles, including including Fairy Tail, Fire Force, Skip and Loafer, Blue Period, Baki, Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fantasy and the current fall 2023 anime The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess. Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fantasy recently revealed a trailer ahead of the release of Season 2 in January 2024.
The official description of Na Nare Hana Nare is as follows: “6 high school girls with completely different interests, talents and personalities. While each person has their own worries, they run, scream, crash into each other, imagine… When their pure cheering wishes match, their cheers touch the hearts of those with related to them. Can the cheers of six high school girls from Gunma change the world, even just a little…?”
