Oshi no Ko Season 2 revealed a preview image and video for episode 9 on Monday. The episode, titled “Dream,” will premiere on Wednesday, August 28 and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Bilibili.

Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie) is returning to produce the sequel, with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) directing and Kanna Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) returning to design the characters. GEMN will perform the opening theme song “Fatal” while Hitsujibungaku will sing the anime's ending theme song, “Burning.” The cast includes:

The TV anime adaptation is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum's Wish). Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 2020. A live-action adaptation of the series will premiere this November.
