Fans and players alike can look forward to new in-game items and limited-time rewards as part of the collaboration

It seems the Oshi no Ko wave is still going strong. As one of the top anime releases of 2023, this popular idol series is having a collaboration with SEGA’s new online action role-playing game, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis.
On September 13, SEGA announced that they would be collaborating with the extremely popular manga and anime series for a limited time only. Fans and players alike can look forward to new in-game items, such as avatars of star characters in their signature outfits, but with little change.
Ai’s avatar, wearing the iconic pink stage outfit she is famous for, comes in three other colors: blue, white and black for users to choose from. The twins Ruby and Aqua’s avatars also come with a similar set of four color options, with users able to choose between blue, black, white and grey. Besides these avatars, users can also grab emojis, build parts, stamps, and mobile holograms as part of this limited-time collaboration.
The best part is that all players of the online role-playing game are entitled to receive limited-time login rewards during the partnership period, such as Genesis Points, Star Gems, and Sets manufacturing department. Oshi no Ko is based on the Japanese manga series by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump. Its anime adaptation debuted in April and quickly became one of the top anime of the year. Its second season was recently announced by HIDIVE.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis has begun collaborating with the famous animated series. Earlier in August, the online role-playing game teamed up with the 2022 series, Uncle from Another World as it returned June saw another collaboration with the very popular series Ghost in the Shell. Both collabs have similar limited-time rewards.
