The previously announced original anime Na Nare Hana Nare (stylized as na-nare hana-nare) has released a new key visual ahead of its scheduled release this July. PA Works is producing the animation for the series.
Koudai Kakimoto both directed the film and wrote the script. Tomomi Takada drew the initial character designs for the series, with both Kanami Sekiguchi and Nana Miura serving as animation directors and character designers for the animation.
The anime's cast includes:
- Rika Nakagawa as Kanta Misora
- Yuki Nakashima plays Suzuha Obunai
- Rarisa Tago Takeda as Anna Aveiro
- Manaka Iwami as Nodoka Ōtani
- Moe Kahara as Shion Tanizaki
- Miku Ito plays Megumi Kaionji
The original anime “Na Nare Hana Nare” follows the journey of six high school girls from Gunma prefecture as they enter their teens with their unique interests, talents, and personalities. Through singing, chance encounters, daring feats, and shared fantasies, they form a bond that transcends conventional boundaries, touching the hearts of those around them. United by their desire to uplift others, their collective encouragement has the potential to make a positive impact on the world.
This is the latest original anime project from PA Works, which includes Angel Beats! (2010), Hanasaku Iroha (2011), Tari Tari (2012), Koitabi: True Tours Nanto (2013), Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea (2013), Glasslip (2014), Hirobako (2014), Charlotte ( 2015), Sakura Quest (2017), Sirius the Jaeger (2018), Iroduku: The World in Colors (2018) and Fairy Gone (2019).
The studio's recent original works include Appare-Ranman! (2020), The Day I Became a God (2020), Aquatope on White Sand (2021), Akiba Maid Wars (2022) and Buddy Daddies (2023). They also announced another original anime project titled Mayonaka Punch, which will also air in July this year.
