Ueda and Kayano play the roles of Tokage and Yuki
Kadokawa and PA Works revealed the sixth and seventh cast for original television anime project Mayonaka Punch (Midnight Punch) on Saturday.

The anime’s seven cast members have been announced once a day for the past six days. Previously announced cast members are Ikumi Hasegawa as Masaki and Fairouz Ai as Live (pronounced “ribu”). In addition, Yuina Itō plays Ichiko, a member of the group “Mayonaka Punch”, who loves cute things and “Live-sama” (including following Live’s orders). Hina Yomiya voices Fū, a member of the group “Mayonaka Punch”, who is reserved and shy, but has the most common sense out of everyone in the group. Hitomi Ueda voices Tokage, a member of “Mayonaka Punch” who loves gambling and money more than anything, and she hates anything that’s a nuisance.

The anime “comedy for girls” revolves around Masaki, a member of the NewTuber group “Harakiri Sisters”, who was fired due to a certain incident. Wanting to return, Masaki met Live. The two girls have different goals but together make an intense comeback and aim to reach 1 million subscribers on NewTube.
The anime will premiere in July.
The anime will reunite the main cast of Ya Boy Kongming! anime, including director Shū Honma, screenwriter Hideaki Shirasaka and studio PA Do. Ryōta Arima (animation director of The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬) is adapting original character designs by Tsukasa Kotobuki (Saber Marionette J, Cyberteam in Akihabara) for animation.”Dōga Tōkō Shōjo”(Video Submission Girls) is credited is an original work.
The project will also include a manga and a novel adaptation. The manga adaptation (Cube Arts) by Tomomi Usui launched in Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine on Monday.
