During promotional events One Piece Live Action Season 1, the cast of the series answered questions when asked who is the biggest fan of Manga One Piece in the series, the entire cast points at Emily Rudd in unison.
Emily, who plays Nami in One Piece Live-action has accepted that she is one One Piece however she also mentioned that showrunner Matt Owens is a real nerd and he knows the entire series.
During the interview, the cast also pointed out Inaki as the actor who resembles the character the most, meaning that Inaki Godoy in real life also resembles Luffy more.

Also, part 2 of the Live Action series One Piece was recently announced and to commemorate the moment, rising star Emily Rudd sent a touching message to fans of the series.
Emily took to her Instagram story to thank all her fans One Piece The Live Action series helped it become the most trending series on Netflix as well as supporting the series leading to the announcement of a second season.
She posted, ” I am very happy. Thank you all, we love you so much” accompanied by a photo of her seemingly overwhelmed by the news.
This isn’t the first time Rudd has posted on social media her excitement regarding the series. When it was announced that she had been cast as Nami, Emily happily posted the news on her Instagram and also changed the photo displayed on her Instagram to a photo of Nami.
Official Twitter account of One Piece live-action released a special video in which creator Eiichiro Oda announced the exciting news to all fans.
Netflix on September 15, 2023 revealed in a special video that Netflix has renewed One Piece live-action series for a second season. The video ends with an illustration of Chopper drawn by Oda.
Chopper will also join the Straw Hats in part 2 of the series.

There is no official release date for One Piece Live-action season 2 has not yet been confirmed.
According to Oda, it will take some time to prepare the script. However, it was previously revealed that the script for the second part of the live-action adaptation has been completed.
Producers are hoping to create 12 parts of the One Piece live-action series.
Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece begins streaming on the platform on August 31, 2023.
The cast includes Iñaki Godoy, who plays Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar will play Sanji. Colton Osorio will play young Luffy.
Furthermore, Peter Gadiot will play Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelanhs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, and Vincent Regan as Garp.

It was previously revealed that the original Japanese voice actors will return to portray their characters for the Japanese dub of the live-action adaptation.
Live-action adaptation of East-Blue Saga from One Piece manga and then “expanded from there”. Matt Owens will serve as a writer for the upcoming show, while Steven Maeda and Becky Clements will serve as executive producer along with Eiichiro Oda.
The live-action soundtrack is titled “Wealth, Fame, Power” composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli, famous for their work “The Witcher“.
Netflix will exclusively stream the series produced by Tomorrow Studios, a collaboration between producer Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios.
According to Tomorrow Studios (direct distributor One Piece-action) President Becky Clements, Season 2 could be ready in “between a year and 18 months” after the writers and actors strike ends (via Variety Films).
The live-action adaptation has been in production in South Africa since February 1, 2022.
