A piece Episode #1113 is surprisingly slow by the anime's most recent standards, but still fun to watch and sets up another great episode in the future. episode #1114. The alternate story arc on Egghead Island continues to be a great one, and even if the latest episode is slow, there's still a lot to look forward to.
One Piece episode #1113 continues the anime's crossover from Egghead Island and moves to Pirate Island, the Blackbeard Pirates' base after Blackbeard ascended to the throne as Emperor. Koby is still imprisoned there after the Blackbeard Pirates' attack on Amazon Lily, and as such, A piece Episode #1113 focuses primarily on Koby's attempt to escape from Pirate Island..
This was a tense episode from start to finish, leaving a lot to be desired for episode #1114, especially the ending.

What happened in One Piece episode 1113?
Produced by Toei Animation; Directed by Yusuke Suzuki
In One Piece episode #1113, “Run, Koby! A Desperate Escape Strategy!”, after Koby was imprisoned on Pirate Island, Blackbeard reveals his main plan is to make the World Government recognize Pirate Island as a legitimate nation.and he planned to use Koby as a bargaining chip to do so. Koby told him that it wouldn't work because he was a member of SWORD, Kuzan explained that that meant Koby was in a position where the Marines could turn Koby away at any time. However, Blackbeard still thought he could use Koby for some purpose, and he was still imprisoned on Pirate Island.
During his imprisonment, Koby was saved by Perona, who freed Koby in exchange for helping her free Moria. Koby reluctantly agreed, and he escaped with dozens of prisoners. Unfortunately, Avalo Pizarro of the Blackbeard Pirates, using the power of the Isle-Isle Fruit to fuse with the island, quickly discovered them and sent people after them, so Koby, using his five stars i.e. 500 million Berry bounty from the Cross Guild, acted as a decoy so that the other prisoners could attempt to escape..
With a heavy ball and chain around his leg and hundreds of pirates on his tail, things were looking grim for Koby, but suddenly, other members of SWORD arrived to save Koby. Some members attacked the Blackbeard Pirates with their clay bodies, and other pirates were attacked by Kujaku, the niece of Vice Admiral Tsuru, and her powerful Whip-Whip Fruit. However, the biggest point of hope for Koby came at the end of the episode, when it was mentioned that Garp went with SWORD to rescue Koby and prepared to begin the attack on Pirate Island..
One Piece Reveals a Character Still Working with the Heroes
The reveal of Kuzan joining the Blackbeard Pirates was a huge shock, One Piece episode #1113 suggests there may be more to it than that. According to Kuzan, SWORD members are allowed to do things that are normally forbidden to the Marines in exchange for their actions being disapproved of on an official level, so that could mean Kuzan only joined the Blackbeard Pirates to spy on them as a member of SWORD.. There's precedent for X Drake doing the same thing to the Beast Pirates, so hopefully it won't be long before the series gives a clear answer.
One Piece anime suffers from some of its worst pacing problems yet
One Piece episode #1113 is a visually stunning episode, but unfortunately, the pacing doesn't keep up. The One Piece anime has always been notorious for its slow pacing, with only one chapter at best being adapted per episode, and sure enough, A piece Episode #1113 doesn't adapt an entire chapter of the manga, making it difficult to sit down and watch. and makes its ending rather awkwardly structured. The expansion on Perona helping Koby escape was nice to see, but other than that, the pacing left a lot to be desired.
However, if there is any positive, it is that episode #1114 will be a step up in quality. Episode #1114 will feature Garp's iconic entrance into the war, and based on the preview alone, A piece Episode #1114 will be another episode with stunning visuals, especially around Garp's Galaxy Impact. That will make up for it. A piece anime missed episode #1113 and it will definitely be one of the best anime episodes.
Be sure to check it out A piece episode #1114 when released on Saturday, August 3.
