After a stellar episode that brilliantly hints at the action to come, A piece unfortunately taking a short break to prepare for episode #1066. What happened in episode #1065 of One Piece?
One Piece Episode #1065 largely shifts the focus away from Luffy and his fight with Kaido, instead showing various other characters participating in the raid. After the climactic battle with King, Zoro is revealed to be dying, facing Death. After dealing with a team of Beast Pirates, Izo was confronted by members of CP0 and upon hearing that they were leaving after the Straw Hats told them to stop. And perhaps most importantly with the next episode’s title, Law and Kid’s fight against Big Mom seems to be picking up speed as they’re trying to stop her from going to the roof to help Kaido.
One Piece #1066 Will Focus More On The Fight Against Big Mom
Episode #1065 shows a variety of plot themes throughout the raid on Onigashima, but episode #1066 will likely focus mainly on showing the fight between Law, Kid, and Big Mom. Based on the title, it is likely that Kid will launch a powerful new attack, due to his strength being based on magnetism. With One Piece most recent taking a week off between episodes, arguably the best episode of the series depicting Zoro and King’s fight, this is a sign that the fight in episode #1066 will be hard to believe. on one’s own.
Another indicator of episode #1066’s quality is that it will be directed by Henry Thurlow, who animated some of Wano’s best moments. This would really mark an exciting milestone, making episode #1066 the first One Piece episode to be directed by an American. Hopefully with a longer production run and a great director, One Piece episode #1066 will be even better than fans expected and deliver another great battle when it airs on June 24th!
