What Happened In One Piece Chapter 1082?
After it was revealed that York was the Traitor of Egghead Island in chapter 1078, the manga revolved around many important events taking place in the world at large. Chapter 1082 is no exception with this chapter jumping between Naval Headquarters, the Cross Society, and the Revolutionary Army. The previous two seasons specified that the Cross Guild would join the race to find One Piece. The last part is the most important as it features Sabo’s return. The chapter ends with a major event, with Sabo preparing to tell Ivankov and Dragon what really happened at Reverie.

Given that One Piece has recently shifted its focus between different regions of the world, there are a lot of different things that chapter 1083 could focus on. The simplest direction the film can take is to show Sabo’s story about what happened at Reverie. However, Oda has kept those events secret for over 150 chapters, so it’s likely that he will switch to a different perspective instead of revealing it. However, there aren’t many major factions for him to introduce, as he has shown glimpses of Shanks, Blackbeard, Sword, Cross Guild, and revolutionaries. With the 5 Elders of One Piece making their way to Egghead Island on their own, this leaves no obvious plot themes to focus on outside of Egghead, except possibly Kuma’s attempt to climb the Red Line. This means Chapter 1083 will likely return to cover events on Egghead Island.
This will be a welcome return for many fans, as it’s been a while since One Piece last showed the Straw Hats. Egghead Island itself has various open plot themes that this chapter can follow. The Straw Hats are divided into groups, each fighting a number of Seraphim, cloned versions of the Seven Lords. Vegapunk is currently confronting York, who has just revealed himself to be a traitor. And Bonny is watching Kuma’s much-anticipated flashback. Any or all of these plot topics could be the focus of chapter 1083, but since all of these are very interesting choices, whatever the chapter covers, it’s certainly would be great.
