Google has revealed its Search of the Year report for 2023, showing trends throughout 2023 across search engine platforms across various genres.
According to the report, One Piece
strong> is the fourth most searched TV Show of 2023 globally, behind The Last of Us, Wednesday and Ginny & Georgia.
Level of concern One Piece The spike was highest between September 3 and 9, 2023, corresponding to the release of chapter 1091 of the manga and episode 1074 of the anime (“I Trust Momo – Luffy’s Last Powerful Technique”).
The top 5 regions most searched for anime include the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, France and Nepal.

However, surprisingly, One Piece did not make it into the top 10 when it came to Japanese search trends in 2023. The top anime in Japan is Oshi No Ko. The latter also topped the list of most searched anime in Japan in 2023 published by Yahoo.

Meanwhile, How Do You Live by Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki topped the list of most searched movies in Japan.
One Piece wasn’t the only anime genre hit in the Year of Search 2023 report, as YOASOBI’s Idol became the most searched song of 2023. It was also the most streamed song in Japan on Spotify in 2023.
