The light novel series inspired by the television anime premiered in October
Image provided by J-Novel ClubDengeki Bunko confirmed on January 19 that Takuma Sakai’s Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned to a Pig (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Hiro) light novel series will end with The next episode is on March 8. This episode is the ninth episode of the series, but is designated as the “nth” episode. Amazon is also listing the episode as the final one.
Sakai launched the novel series with illustrations by Asagi Tōsaka (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy, Girly Air Force) in March 2020, after winning the gold award (coming in second). place) in the 26th Dengeki Novel Award in 2019. Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko imprint is publishing the novel in print.
Minami launched an ongoing manga adaptation in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine in August 2020.
J-Novel Club is releasing the novel and manga series in English, and describes the story:

The novel inspired a television anime that premiered on October 7. The anime’s 12th and final episode was delayed and will air on February 5.
