Review of Ninja Kamui Episode 7: This episode is once again absolutely breathtaking, brought to us by the director of Jujutsu Kaisen. This is one of the best action horror anime, so let's see how the 7th episode plays out in detail below.
Ninja Kamui Episode 7 Overview
Ninja Kamui is a fascinating Japanese animated film produced by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment, with the delicate direction of Williams Street. Premiering on Adult Swim's Toonami lineup in February 2024, the show has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement in May 2022. At the helm of the series is director Sunghoo Park, in while the iconic character designs come from Takashi Okazaki.
Ninja Kamui first got everyone buzzing when Adult Swim dropped its teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023. Additionally, the video game version of Ninja Kamui, titled Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins, will launch in the second quarter of 2024.
The theme song, “Vengeance,” by Coldrain, is set as the show's opening number.
I tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I have to cover in order to give a proper response.

Ninja Kamui Episode 7 Review and Summary: Emma's Origin Story
Another new episode dropped and this one was a roller coaster ride from the start. What I like about this show is that you don't feel like you're watching a 22-minute episode but an entire movie with a lot going on at once. You never feel bored even once, and are even afraid to look away, because just like me, you don't want to miss anything.
Considering how the last episode ended, we all knew how dramatic this was going to be and I was disappointed with the battle. Higan finally gets his own high-tech Kamui equipment and he is a threat to his enemies. He fits the outfit so well that it almost feels like it was made just for him. Higan proved to be very proficient using the suit, as he even performed better than the lieutenants he fought before.
Therefore, the situation is no longer as simple as before. Now, Higan is no pathetic prey for the organization, and they might as well ramp things up if they want to kill our protagonist. With his newfound power, Higan is able to directly challenge his former master and old friend. But Zai won't stand aside and watch Higan do whatever he wants. He also has a trump card in his hand.
This episode mainly deals with Emma's origin story and how she learned about Mari. The special bond these two women share is also what truly saved Higan's life. Here, we get some very important information about what happened in the ninja organization in the past, leading to the defection of many ninjas.
Additionally, Yamaji also has his own agendas and goals that we are working towards as of yet unknown. I believe that these goals are completely different from the original ideology of the previous ninja society. And to keep Higan from interfering with his plans, Yamaji is desperately trying to kill him.

This episode is again really good with some of the best fight scenes. The flashbacks really helped me understand the story better and understand the characters more discreetly. The background music of this episode was created very appropriately and served the scenes well.
I really can't wait for the next episode because we will finally know what the true motives of the current ninja organization or Yamaji are.
