The second season of the anime adaptation of Kumo Kagyu’s dark fantasy novel series, Goblin Slayer II, has revealed new images and announced a premiere date of October 6. The anime is highly anticipated by many people. will premiere on Tokyo MX, AT-X and BS11, followed by airing on Sun TV. Fans can also watch the show on ABEMA, where it will be available to stream hours before its television debut.
Interestingly, the opening theme titled “Entertainment” will be performed by the talented Mili, while the ending theme, “Kasumi no Mukō e” (To the Other Side of the Mist), will be performed by Presented by Yuki Nakashima. Mark your calendars for this thrilling return to the Goblin Slayer universe on October 6!

Misato Takada, known for his work on Saiyuki Reload-ZEROIN-, takes over as director at LIDEN FILM for the upcoming series. Meanwhile, Takaharu Ozaki, who previously directed the first season of the anime at WHITE FOX, took on the role of main director. The always talented Hideyuki Kurata, recognized for his participation in projects such as Read or Die, Made in Abyss and Kamichu!, continues to direct the series.
Hiromi Kato, celebrated for his work on Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut, brought his artistic touch to the character design. Additionally, the film’s music will once again be composed by Kenichiro Suehiro, who is highly regarded for his contributions to Golden Kamuy and Fire Force.
The series’ first season debuted in Japan in October 2018, with Crunchyroll providing subtitles for international audiences during broadcast. Funimation also offers an English dubbed version of the show. Notably, the theatrical animated film Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown was released in Japan in February 2020, and Crunchyroll will release it to viewers in July of the same year.
Kumo Kagyu’s dark fantasy novel series, Goblin Slayer, first volume was published by SB Creative in February 2016. Then, Kōsuke Kurose (known for The IDOLM@STER Neue Green for Dearly Stars) started embarked on an ongoing manga adaptation of Big Gangan in May 2016. Yen Press holds licensing rights to both Kumo Kagyu’s Goblin Slayer Novels and Kōsuke Kurose’s manga adaptation, with the spin-off novel and manga series appearing in the series.

In gaming, the console game Goblin Slayer-Another Adventurer-Nightmare Feast will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam later this winter.
