The second promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Rasuko Ōkuma’s “Hoshikuzu Telepath” (Stardust Telepath) manga premiered on the official website last Sunday. This trailer provides a glimpse into the series’ opening theme, “Ten to Sen” (Points and Roads), sung by Miku Itō.
The focus of the story is Umika, a shy girl struggling with a social anxiety and challenges in building friendships.

Fate turns when Yū, a new transfer student, enters the scene. Many people don’t know that Yū is identified as an alien with the uncanny ability to sense the emotions of others with a simple touch.

Mark your calendars for the anime’s scheduled premiere this coming October.
Anime direction supervisor at Studio Gokumi is Kaori, known for her work in series such as Yuyushiki and The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬. The series’ scriptwriters are Kaori and Matsuko Takahashi, recognized for their connection to Yuyushiki and Comic Girls. Taking on the role of character designer and animation director is Takahiro Sakai, who is best known for his contributions to Yuki Yuna Is a Hero.
The closing theme, “Tentaizu” (Celestial Map), was made by SoundOrion.
The manga was originally introduced as a 4-panel manga in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine in May 2019, starting its serialization journey in July of the same year. Readers can check out the compiled third volume of the manga, which Houbunsha released in October 2022.

It is noteworthy that the manga received a nomination in the Best Print Manga category in the seventh “Next Manga Awards” (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) to be held in 2021.
