Blue Archive The Animation received a “Daitai Ippun de Wakaru Blue Archive” (Blue Archive In Around One Minute) video that explains its setting and reintroduces the main characters, who previously received a trailer figure.
As part of a previous function, the video takes a closer look at the academy city Kivotos, which is home to many academies. Kivotos's students possess easily available guns (the narration states that even convenience stores sell them) and use them randomly, even though the weapons are not lethal to the students.

Blue Archive The Animation will launch in Japan on April 7. This anime is inspired by the free game “Youth x Academy x Military RPG” Blue Archive from NEXON Gamewill focus on the Countermeasures Committee of Abydos High School, which faces the threat of closure due to desertification.
Google Play describes the game as follows:
You have been appointed as advisor to the Federal Investigation Club, Schale, based in Kivotos. It was a large academy city where many academies were gathered together.
Solve the endless incidents that occur in Kivotos with charming allies full of personality and build special memories with them!
The Blue Archive Game was released in Japan in February 2021 for iOS and Android. Yostar Inc. handles distribution in Japan, while NEXON Company is a global publisher. It has received many animated promotional videos.
