The Naruto and Boruto anime franchises just received a stunning new color illustration, connecting the old and present-day Team 7 in a generational work of art.
Via X (formerly Twitter), the official Boruto anime account posted a seasonal illustration for spring 2024, captioning the post: “[SEASON ILLUST ~SPRING~] A special illustration from the BORUTO!! production team. The beginning of a new life! Let's run through spring together ✨.” The illustration perfectly captures the title of the Naruto sequel series — Boruto: Naruto Next Generations — featuring both old and new Team 7. While Boruto's seasonal illustrations have always been a hit with fans, anime studio Pierrot made headlines this week after suggesting that Boruto's upcoming anime return could switch to a seasonal model. season, consistent with other popular anime series.
